Seasonal Rituals

For years I have entered each new season with a ritual. Typically I do it on the Equinox’s and Solstices’. I take a few moments to reflect on the past season, and look to the new season with excitement and hope. There is something so comforting about the way Mother Nature just follows the seasonal cycle. She sprouts, blooms, flourish’s, give us a second bloom in the fall colors, decays, feeds the soil, rests and begins again. We also follow these cyclical changes {maybe in subtler ways} by change in dress, the foods we eat, and our moods.

These quarterly posts are dedicated to breaking down seasonal changes and what we can best do to honor our bodies seasons as we follow the flow of nature.
